This year marks the 24th year for the upcoming Woodford County Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Auction to be held December 2, 2007 at the Woodford County High School library.  The auction begins at 1:00 pm.

The auction is funded by various donations from supporters including many local businesses - and the funds are used to generate revenue for the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce.  This auction is the single largest annual fund generator for the Chamber.

Lots of really useful items including gift certificates among other items are donated from various businesses and then auctioned off.

The auction will be viewable by everyone on the community access channel, and broadcasted by the Woodford County High School’s Channel 6.

The auctioneers this year will include Mayor Fred Siegelman, local auto dealer Jack Kain, and radio personality Ray Holbrook.

10 telephone lines will be manned for persons wishing to bid from home on various items.

If you are desiring to volunteer to help support the Chamber for the auction this year, you can call the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce at 859-873-5122.

Additionally, if you would like to donate item(s) to the event, you can bring those to the Chamber office which is located at 141 North Main Street in Versailles Kentucky.

For those wishing to bid during the auction, you will be able to call 859-873-0099. Online bidding will also be available via website.
