Kmart has submitted a 3rd amended development plan so they can construct a drive through pharmacy on its existing location at 501 Marsailles Road.

Additional items on the agenda include:

Discussion for amending the current subdivision regulations. One of the proposals is to require a commercial real estate developers to put up a certificate of deposit for 10% of the project’s total cost prior to the issuance of a grading permit. Several developers and a local banker raised concerns for this type of requirement. A second proposed amendment is to require developments that do construction in phases, to put at the end of stubbed streets that the road would continue in the future even though it is currently a dead end.
